The Event Sales Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring that revenue goals are achieved or exceeded by proactively prospecting, selling, facilitating, and closing small corporate and social business meeting and event opportunities as well as event execution. The Event Sales Manager will solicit, negotiate, and confirm new and repeat business through various efforts (lead follow up, e-mail, direct mail, referrals, prospecting, networking, etc.) to maximize revenues.
Responsibilities include prepare and execute event sales contracts, event orders, event resumes & BEOs, billing instructions and final review. The Event Sales Manager will assist in coordinating all functions details with clients and is also the on-site contact, responsible for the smooth execution of all events. This role will also be responsible for the set up and execution of all meetings, including room setup, detailing and breakdown.
Position will report to VP of Sales and General Manager.
