Job Description

The Mid Atlantic Cluster of Hilton Hotels is looking for an experienced Business Travel Sales Manager to join our Team. The ideal candidate would have experience with a complexed Business Travel Team. This role will be based in the Washington, D.C. market.

Requirements:

5+ years hotel sales experience

2+ years of Business Travel Sales Experience

Cluster/Multi Property experience

Highly Preferred:

Delphi FDC, Hotelligence

Local Candidate to Washington, D.C. metro area

Luxury experience

Hilton experience

What Will I Be Doing?

Increase qualified BTS sales volume by developing key relationships with new BTS accounts, and growing production with assigned existing accounts across the group of hotels represented.

Essential Functions

20% Develop new BTS accounts via research and connections excluding key national accounts.

20% Negotiate and execute contracts for Volume Accounts

15% Qualify prospects for the Complexed group of hotels
15% Prepare and present proposals and/or contracts to prospective customers

10% Develop and execute on-site and field presentations to prospective clients
10% Engage in outside sales activities to discuss business opportunities and entertain customers

5% Participate in industry related organizations and the local community to develop business
5 % Attend departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings to support business

In addition to performing the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company.

• Demonstrate an ability to follow a prescribed sequence of service with each encounter.
• Take initiative, be willing to assume responsibility for exceeding guests' expectations.
